Everything on this site is searchable — a file number, a councillor, a motion, a meeting, or an application.
How this record is made
Every figure on this site, where it comes from, and the rules it follows. If a number here cannot be traced to a document Kitchener published, it does not belong on the site.
Corrections are acted on within 48 hours. Every member of council is welcome to have their page reviewed and errors fixed — the aim is an accurate record, not a scorecard.
Where the council record comes from
Minutes published by the Town of Kitchener through its own meeting portal. A deterministic parser reads each set of minutes for motions, who moved and seconded them, the outcome, declared conflicts of interest, and who was recorded present. No language model reads or counts anything on these pages.
636 of 910 meetings held have been read (September 13, 2021 to September 30, 2026). Of those, 173 have no minutes published by the Town of Kitchener at all, so they contribute nothing to any count below. A further 339 carry minutes with no motions in them — workshops and information sessions, mostly — so they add nothing to the motion counts, though attendance from them is recorded.
Four rules this record follows
No count without its denominator. Every figure is stated against the meetings that member could actually have attended, so someone who joined part-way through a term is never compared against a full one.
No ranking and no score. Members are listed by name. There is no composite activity number, because no honest one exists.
Reconcile or withhold. A figure is published only where it verifies against the source document’s own totals. Anything that does not reconcile is dropped and counted, never guessed at and never published in part.
The document wins. Where this site and the published document disagree, the document is right and this site is wrong.
What this is not
It is not a measure of who is effective. Who moves a motion is often a seat convention or a committee role.
It is not a record of debate. Minutes record decisions, not what was said.
It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, the Town of Kitchener, and takes no position on any decision in it.
It is not complete. What is missing is named on this page rather than left as a gap.
What this site collects about you
Visits and clicks are counted with Google Analytics so the operator can see which councils, meetings and members people come to read. Nothing you type is stored beyond a search term, no account is created, nothing is sold, and there is no advertising.
